The department of Chemistry was established in 2007. There is total three members in the department. Two of them are Ph.D. qualified. Department offers B.Sc. course at the undergraduate level through semester pattern as per the guidelines from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. The B.Sc. Degree comprise six semesters. Chemistry is a most important subject as far as the society development is concerned. The basic aim to make students and society to aware about the role that chemistry plays in science and technology.

Department organizes various student centric programs likes Seminar competition, Poster competition, Workshop on different areas of subjects, Guest lecture on syllabus, Organized Chemi Quiz Competition and Laboratory Based Induction Training workshop. Department also arrange field visit, educational tour for the students. Department also complete the university curriculum for internal assessment like Class Seminar, Group Discussion, Project etc. Department also motivate the students participation towards various intercollegiate competition.
