Green Army Club

     Vinayak Vidnyan Mahavidyalya, Nandgaon (kh) fulfils its responsibility towards Mother Nature through its environment protection Unit Named “Green Army Club”. The Green Army Club of VinayakVidnyan Mahavidyalaya, Nandgaon (kh) stands tall because of its many years of consistent work in spreading the word of wisdom to conserve nature. The club members of Vinayak Vidnyan Mahavidyalaya proactively participate increatingawareness in rural areas, they conductworkshops, Rallies, and even talks are organizedto spread the word about conservation. The activities of the club are not restricted to the college campus and the club has spread its tentacles to the adjoining area where activities are carried out so that the people’sinvolvementshould also increase in the conservation of mother nature.
     Every year the club forms its working committee with the Executive and Members. Theexecutive includes the president, Vice-president, Secretary, and treasurer. The executive is elected from B.Sc. and B.Com and preference for president, Vice president is given to final-year students. Members are chosen randomly from FY/SY and TY of B.com and B.Sc and a maximum of 10 members are selected to represent all the faculty and all the years. The club is supervised by the Department of Botany and Zoology.
     The Executive Council and Executive members of the club are selected by the supervising faculty members based on the overall performance of the students in the environmental activities carried out by the club throughout the year. The presidentship of the club is bestowed to the final year student and vice presidentship is given to either final or second year student. The executive members are selected from all three years. The club has been taking pioneer steps in creating an eco-friendly atmosphere at the taluka level through their various activities
