At Vinayak Vidnyan Mahavidyalaya, we believe that our students play a crucial role in society. To address economic and social barriers and raise awareness about important issues, we actively engage in extension activities through our NCC and NSS units. These activities not only contribute to the holistic development of our students but also foster a sense of social responsibility and promote community engagement.

Our college, in collaboration with the IQAC, inspires our NCC and NSS units to organize a wide range of socio-economic activities that have a positive impact on the society. These activities aim to create awareness, educate, and empower individuals, leading to their overall development. Some of the extension activities conducted by our college include:

NCC and NSS Regular Activities:  Our NCC and NSS units engage students in regular activities that involve community service, social initiatives, and awareness campaigns. Through these activities, students learn about social issues, develop empathy, and actively participate in finding solutions.

NCC and NSS Residential Camp:  We organize residential camps where students immerse themselves in transformative experiences. These camps focus on leadership development, teamwork, and community service, enabling students to understand and address the challenges faced by different communities.

Blood Donation Camp:  Our college organizes blood donation camps to address the shortage of blood in hospitals and save lives. These camps instill a sense of altruism and promote the value of contributing to the well-being of others.

Talks on Gender Equality:  We conduct talks and discussions on gender equality to raise awareness about the importance of equal rights and opportunities for all genders. These sessions challenge societal norms and empower students to advocate for gender equality.

Plastic Awareness Programs:   Our college actively promotes the reduction of plastic waste through various awareness programs. We educate students and the community about the detrimental effects of plastic on the environment and encourage the adoption of eco-friendly alternatives.

Eco-friendly Ganesha:  During the Ganesh festival, we organize the "Green Ganesh Rally" in NandgaonKhandeshwar. The rally aims to create awareness among the local population about the environmental impact of Plaster of Paris (POP) idols. We encourage the use of eco-friendly materials to ensure the protection of water bodies and aquatic ecosystems.

Tree Plantation Drive:  To contribute to environmental conservation, we organize tree plantation drives to increase the green cover and combat climate change. These drives involve students actively participating in planting saplings and spreading awareness about the importance of preserving nature.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan:   Following the guidelines of the UGC and the state government of Maharashtra, we conduct the "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" in the local community of NandgaonKhandeshwar. Students clean the college premises and nearby areas, spreading the message of cleanliness and hygiene through slogans and awareness campaigns.

Voters Awareness Rally:  In collaboration with the Tahsil office of NandgaonKhandeshwar, we organize voter awareness rallies. These rallies educate students and the community about the voting process, emphasizing the importance of active participation in the electoral process for the betterment of our nation.

Programmes on Women Empowerment:   We conduct various programs focused on women empowerment, aiming to create awareness about gender equality, address gender-based discrimination, and promote the rights and well-being of women in society.

World AIDS Day and World Women's Day:   We commemorate World AIDS Day and World Women's Day through events and activities that raise awareness about these critical issues. These initiatives foster inclusivity, support individuals affected by AIDS, and advocate for women's rights.
